Daylight pictures

We had a good first night's sleep in our new comfty pop up camper...minus Turbo throwing up in the middle night. Maybe he'll learn eventually not to eat things out of the charcoal pit....ah, probably not. Here are some pictures in the daylight.

Home owners at last!!

Here are some pictures of our new home! Kyle bought a used pop up camper today and we are testing it out tonight at Lake Bryan. Here are some pictures of the inside...we'll add some more pictures tomorrow when it's light outside. We like the camper a lot and think it will be a comfortable "home" for a few months....you see Turbo feels right at home : )

Kyle on the toilet...
the shower....
View from one bed to the other...we've got a stove, sink, heat, fridge, portable air conditioner, 2 king size beds, and toilet/shower combo, and an outside shower too! Oh, and an outdoor grill. Paradise!
Turbo stole the koozie...but not much room to run. We'll be spending a lot of time hiking and biking!

It's going to be an adventure!! : )

Kyle's New Job!

Great news! Kyle just got a new job! He will be working with the Great Basin Institute in Nevada starting in early June thru the end of August. Here's their website (in case you're interested): http://www.thegreatbasininstitute.org/

So, it's going to be an exciting summer! For the job, Kyle will work long days Mon-Thurs and will camp out those nights. Then, he will have Fri-Sun to explore Southern Nevada and the surrounding areas. We're contemplating buying a used pop up camper and just living out of it. Can you imagine the three of us living in a pop up? Yeah, it's hard for me too, but it sounds like an adventure!

As far as myself, I take the MCAT on friday. EEK!! Then, on Monday, I am beginning an EMT-basic certification class that will go until the end of June and I will be completing my med school applications as well. At the end of June, I am going to California for a week or so with my mom and nephews. Then, it will be back to Texas for a few weeks for clinical/ambulatory rotations to finish my EMT-b certification. Hopefully, by mid July, all of our belongings will be in storage and Turbo and I will take a long road trip to Nevada to be with Kyle!

CRAZINESS.
