It's looking better! New walls, refinished floors, and pretty wood covering the support beam (will be framed out and some kind of finish added, but we still want to be able to see the variations in color in the wood).

Progress
Here are some pictures of the progress we have made on the house. Thank you Chuck and Betty for all the help!
Kyle under the house...
Summary of our progress: shortened the closet on the left, which will be the new home for our refrigerator; shortened the closet on the right which houses the washer and dryer and installed new plumbing; put in a new, longer support beam; installed plugs and light switches in the new walls; installed can lights in the kitchen. We are very pleased with all that we got done! I think it will look great once the dry wall is put up and Kyle builds our new bar : )
Chuck and Betty are headed back to Austin, and Kyle is on his way to Temple for the week for some training, so it will be just me and Turbo until Friday.

Homeowners :o)
Kyle and I closed on our first home Monday. We are very excited : )
We plan on moving in by the end of February. But, before we move in, there are a few small changes we plan on making to the house. The first small task is taking out parts of the wall between the kitchen and living room and making a bar. Demolition began Monday night:
Kyle's parents are here to help with the demolition and re-construction (we are very lucky to have them to help!). We'll keep you updated on our progress : )

Our little brother came over on Tuesday night to help with the taking down of the walls...I think when you're 10 years old, it's pretty cool to get to slam a hammer into a wall. Shoot, I'm 26, and I think it's fun : )
